Geocaching in a cold and dark Västerås

by Maria 2. December 2009 20:59

One of our red dogs started turning pink today, and after a while we figured out why: he had decided to hold his breath until we went out geocaching again. What could we do but to heat up the bus and take a short trip.

- "Let's try to find a couple of quick-and-easy caches in Västerås", we said to ourselves - hoping that we would find 5-10 of those (since we still have about 30 "easy" caches to find). Somehow we had forgotten that we have three children: one wanted to go caching really badly, one was tired and screamy and one (we soon realized) was really to ill to go caching.

So, our trip to Västerås became a bit shorter than anticipated. Three quick cache finds and one not found, then a short drive-through-stop att McDonalds and then a quick ride home again.

But at least we made the red dog go red again. He's now sleeping happily and dreaming about geocaching
